Grisoft has finally updated the free version of their well loved, light, and effective antivirus product AVG. Up until this point the free version of AVG has stopped at version 7.5 while the payed version reached version 8.0. This new version seems a little easier to use and boasts a slightly less austere user interface while also adding a free anti-spyware scanner to the package. If you are one of my customers using Microsoft Windows and have AVG 7.5 installed please check out the new free upgrade at free.grisoft.com!
